Job Description

Online sales representatives connect with customers to sell their business' products or services. Successful sales teams use effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with and maintain loyalty among their company's customers, utilizing CRM which directly influences the revenue stream of the business.

These professionals are on the front lines, representing a company day in and day out. Working as a salesperson requires strong skills in networking and persuasion in addition to perseverance. Online sales representatives oversee the online communications from potential customers as well as utilize social media for marketing and generating leads. Online sales is the highest source of revenue for Diablo Guitars and it is extremely important to have a well functioning, and organized online sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue sales
  • Maintain customer database (Zen Desk)
  • Upselling
  • Respond To Sales Related Emails And Offers promptly
  • Report Inventory Needs
  • Follow sales scripts provided by sales manager and/or operations manager
  • Schedule appointments

Accountabilities

  • Sales Metrics website and reverb
    • KPI: Gross Sales
    • KPI: Gross Profit

Authority

  • Discount items to a set margin to make a sale
  • Include merchandise or other low-stake items to make a sale

Schedule

  • Daily
    • Check shopify messages and emails
    • Respond to messages as they come in (5-minute max ttr goal)
    • Enter all correspondence into CRM
    • Review CRM and outreach appropriately
  • Weekly
    • Review sales figures
    • Review CRM, clean up stale data
  • Monthly
    • Email customer lists of incoming inventory
    • Follow up with any missed sales opportunities
    • Review sales, and metrics with sales manager
  • Quarterly
    • Meeting with sales manager, marketing and management
