Daily Priorities

Priority Order

  1. Customer in front of you (appointments & walk-ins)
  2. Customer on the phone
  3. Customer actively online: Shopify messenger, open-phone texts, Reverb
  4. Customer passively online: Responding to emails, social media messages, comments etc.
  5. Processing leads: Adding new leads to Salesforce, processing opportunities to next step of sale
  6. Generating new leads: Social media posts to boost online interest and activity

Schedule

Starting after the opening store tasks have been completed.

Prior to appointments, contact to remind customer of the appointment, reschedule if needed, and prepare items.

Appointments Checklist

  • Item for appointment on hand and readily available (if not in showroom already, make arrangements for item to be brought down)
  • Guitar is cleaned up, setup and tuned (check all pots)
  • Amps are plugged in
  • Give customer expectations of appointment time
  • Plug customer in to amp and make sure is functional
  • Explain the Amp switcher (if in amp room)
  • Show that all prices are on our website, give customer wifi password if necessary

Messages Checklist

Check all messages at opening, mid-day and before closing (every 2-3 hours). Reply to all messages, call back missed calls, reply to social media comments, acquire new leads etc.

Add all new leads obtained from messages to Salesforce and process all existing opportunities (leads) to the next stage of the sales process. Provide quotes, follow up, negotiate, closed won/lost etc.

Social Media & Daily Report

After all appointments are prepared for, all messages from the checklist have been responded to, and after all existing leads and opportunities have been exhausted — make social media posts to generate interest, traffic and engagement.

Social media posts must be posted across all platforms. Periodically utilize the metrics functions of each platform to see which content is performing best and which types of posts generate the most views and leads.

The daily report tracks your sales, number of follow ups, new leads, social media posts and generates a score. The daily target of 200 points is what you should be maintaining an average of.
